General Cubicle Beds
Located in the well-lit and ventilated south-western corner of the hospital, it is designed to provide privacy and facilities for the relatives to stay overnight.
Cabins
The air-conditioned cabins have attached kitchenette and toilet/shower. For the comfort of the patients, they are supplied with reading lamp, cup-board and a cot for the patient's relative as well. Each cabin is complete with central oxygen and suction units, and function as high-dependency units combining both comfort and care.
Joanne High Dependency Unit
Ward with high dependency beds are dedicated to the memory of "The Brave Heart", Joanne Gillespie and furnished with the generous donation by her parents Peter and Kathy Gillespie from Britain. This unit is designed to ensure continuous vigilance which is desired for the care of the patients occupying these beds who have been recently transferred from ICU or operating theatre. Each bed is supplied with bedside monitors, central oxygen and suction unit for intensive monitoring and care.
Acute Stroke Unit
Located in the pleasantly lit area in the second floor, and decorated with glass painted butterflies, this unit offers international standard intensive care services to patients under the direct supervision of stroke specialists.
VIP Cabins
Twin interconnected cabins, one room for the patient and the other for relatives are situated in the VIP area of the hospital. They are air-conditioned with an attached kitchenette and toilet/shower. For the comfort of the patients, they are supplied with reading lamp, television, refrigerator, microwave oven, cupboard, and a bed for the patient's relative. Each cabin is complete with central oxygen and suction units, and function as high-dependency units combining both comfort and care.
VVIP Suite
The large VVIP room is equipped to intensive care unit level with central oxygen, suction, compressed air, ventilator and monitor. The VVIP area is conceived with security, privacy and comfort of the guest and visitors in mind. If need be, the whole VIP wing with additional VIP cabins and the spacious lounge could be used by the valued guest.
