Our Intensive Care Unit looks after critical patients with acute, life- threatening illness or injury. It is manned round the clock by critical care consultants, dedicated nurses, nutritionist and technicians.
- 11 customised ICU beds, each with high range bedside monitors
- Each bed allotted with modern ventilator, air mattress, pneumatic compression
- Large glass panel windows allowing ample natural light in the ICU complemented with central air-conditioning, joint-less Epoxy lining of wall, ceiling and floor
- Central oxygen, suction and compressed air
- Isolation ICU for barrier nursing of patients with infections
- Invasive monitoring like central venous pressure, intra-arterial blood pressure, arterial blood gas and intracranial pressure
- Bed side ultrasonography, electroencephalogram, bronchoscopy and provision for bed side procedures like tracheostomy, chest tube insertion, lumbar drain insertion, twist drill cranial decompression
- ICU supported with efficient laboratory and radiological services aided by Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
